Haleema Mohsen

Haleema Mohsen is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and master’s student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Campbellsville University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fort Hays State University and a master’s degree in Health Communication for Social Change from CUNY School of Public Health. Haleema has experience supporting individuals, couples, and families in community mental health and telemental health settings.
 

Haleema takes a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. She enjoys helping clients navigate relationship concerns, communication challenges, family dynamics, life transitions, and culturally rooted experiences. Her systemic perspective allows her to explore not only individual concerns, but also the relationships and patterns that may influence a client’s well-being. Drawing from her training in Bowen Family Systems Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Haleema tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they develop greater insight into themselves and their relationships.
 

Haleema values the role that culture, family, faith, and identity can play in shaping our experiences and relationships. She is bilingual in Arabic and English and welcomes the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.​
